At the Workspace Design Show 2025 in London, Gensler designed the Design Talks Lounge as a platform for inspiring conversations and creative exchange. With the theme “Awaken,” the space was intended to spark new ideas and reignite creative thinking within the design community. To bring this concept to life, Gensler partnered with CECOCECO and integrated ArtMorph into the spatial experience.
Design Concept and Texture Selection
Inspired by the theme “Awaken,” CECOCECO looked to the ever-changing sky as its creative starting point, designing a cloud texture that evokes the atmosphere of morning. To reinforce this concept, it applied soft, shifting light effects that simulate the transition between sunrise and sunset—symbolizing the earth’s daily activation and the beginning of a new day filled with endless possibilities. The interplay between texture and light created a dynamic, immersive moment that visually echoes the theme.
The installation in the Design Talks Lounge consists of 56 active panels with no extension panels, covering a total area of 4 meters wide by 3.5 meters high (14 m²).
