Conceptual Designs, the Architect of Record for Catfish Bend Casino in Burlington, Iowa, reached out to us after seeing ArtMorph at Neocon. Their project involved updating the casino floor, and they proposed incorporating an ArtMorph installation on the Winners Wall as part of the renovation.
Design Concept and Texture Selection
For this project, the texture Soft Marble #5 was selected to align with the updated design direction of the casino floor, which is modern and minimal, while also ensuring clarity for content display on the Winners Wall. The texture features a marbled pattern in an almost white tone, offering a clean and elegant surface with gentle visual movement.
Visually, it matched the light palette and refined surfaces of the remodeled space. Functionally, it ensured that any digital content displayed on the ArtMorph wall would remain legible and impactful.
The ArtMorph installation consists of 50 active panels with no extension panels, covering a total area of 5 meters wide by 2.5 meters high (12.5 m²).
