At Workspace Design Show London 2026, Gensler & AREA designed the Design Talks Lounge as an immersive stage environment inspired by the theme Connected Realities. The space centres around a circular stage, creating a focused setting for talks and dialogue.
To support this concept, Gensler partnered with CECOCECO to integrate ArtMorph into the stage backdrop, introducing a dynamic surface that enhances the spatial experience while remaining seamlessly embedded within the architectural design.
Design Concept and Texture Selection
For this project, the Cosmic Colours Fabric texture was developed to align with the surrounding acoustic materials, ensuring a cohesive integration with the overall space.
By matching both colour and tactile appearance, ArtMorph blends seamlessly into the environment while introducing subtle movement through light. A key design highlight is the segmented curved installation, with a 0.5° angle between panels, allowing the digital surface to follow the circular geometry of the space with precision.
The installation consists of 45 ArtMorph Grande panels, covering a total area of 5 meters wide by 2.5 meters high (11.25 m²).
