Enhancing Health Care Environments with ArtMorph Technology at Sanford Health

HKS was designing a new Virtual Care Center for Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. As part of this project, HKS envisioned creating a café feature wall that would serve as a focal point within the space. To achieve this, they proposed incorporating an ArtMorph wall as a key design element, leveraging its unique aesthetic and functional features to enhance the overall environment and align with the project’s design goals.
Design Concept and Texture Selection
The design concept for the Virtual Care Center was centered around a clean, bright, and modern aesthetic. The goal was to create a space that would enhance the user experience while reflecting a contemporary and welcoming environment. The ArtMorph wall was incorporated as a central element of the café feature wall, aligning with the overall theme and enhancing the space’s overall ambiance.
The white marble finish was chosen for the ArtMorph cover to compliment with the overall design aesthetic and complement other elements in the café. Matching wood panels installed above and below the ArtMorph wall ensured design continuity. Despite differences in materials provided by the contractor, the final installation successfully delivered the intended design impact, highlighting the sophistication and modernity of the space.
A total of 30 ArtMorph Panels were used for this project. The wood panels installed above and below the ArtMorph wall were printed with a design that matched the white marble finish of the ArtMorph covers, creating a unified and visually consistent appearance.

Precision Installation and Support by AVI Systems
AVI Systems, whose AV integration expertise ensured a flawless installation and ongoing support for ArtMorph and other technologies. One of the key challenges was that AVI did not have the technical drawings from the contractor providing and installing the panels, so exact measurements were unknown. After installing the ArtMorph wall and the bottom wood panels, AVI Systems meticulously adjusted the ArtMorph wall to ensure the final result fit with the design specifications and delivered a cohesive visual experience.
